Women's rights during 20th century

At the end of Word War I, the women were conscious about their fundamental contribution as worker of Britain's industries during the conflict, due to lack of men's workforce.

As a conseguence the women wanted more judment on Britain's politics, in particular with right of vote. The battle was fought especially by Women's suffrages Movement or 'Suffragettes', lead by Mrs Emmeline Pankhurst and her two daughters.
